850 families in Kahira Village, Kenya suffers from lack of clean water to drink or use. There is a water dam but it is not functional now. So, people have to walk for long distances to get water which is not clean or safe to use.
Our goal is re-construction of a water dam of 10000 m³. This dam will supply enough water for drinking and irrigation too.
Water Dam is an artificial lake designed to collect rain water, its bottom is lined with substances that avoid water leak.
It assures a sustainable water source to supply enough water for drinking and irrigation too.
