Water Wells

What is a “Water Well”?

It is a shallow well or borehole  supplied with pumps that bring up to the surface clean water ready to use or drink.

A water well can provide a whole village with clean water saving them from diseases such as: cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, and polio and a lot more preventable health risks.

4,000 children can be saved daily from death if they were given access to clean water, according to UNICEF.

200 million hour can be saved for women and children spend every day collecting water,it is a huge waste of their valuable time where they can use it to study, work or even take care of their families.
Also when wells built near schools, it increase attendance.

Our Work

We have installed 18 water well in 3 African countries (Niger,Uganda and Kenya) that granted clean water ready to use and drink for more than 16,000 beneficiaries.

Bringing clean water near people helped them build their stable and safe community that doesn’t require travelling to search for a water source and rebuilding their lives around.
